With the victory, Phil climbed to within a fractional difference of the World NUMBER ONE ranking, which as we all know has been the virtual property of Tiger Woods for just about ever. Good going Lefty!!!
I love the Doral course and to see Mickelson play such a controlled short game (with the occasional blip) was truly delightful.
Chip Shots: D.A. Points continued his steady play and finished with his second consecutive top ten finish (he tied for ninth). Congrats to a really nice guy!
Mike Weir finished T35 I think. The little guy seems to be cruising along with some good play, but he needs to make a few more clutch shots if he is going to shine in the Masters.
