The play-offs are here and without Tiger it appears to be an open field with lots of possible winners. But unless someone from way down the pack sneaks past everyone and wins this week, only those in the top 10 to 20 in the rankings realistically has a chance at the REALLY big money!
My Choice: Padraig Harrington
Why? Do you really need an answer besides his Open victory and not to mention his PGA victory. I still look at replays from his two big victories and the surprise is that his eyes did not pop out of his head. WOW! He was so intense his eyes looked like saucers as he stared down his shot or prepared to putt.
Possible Darkhorses: Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker
Why? Furyk is the most quietly consistent player on the PGA Tour and Stricker can be deadly around the green when it counts the most.
